About us

There's a person behind Alivia, not a warehouse

Alivia is a small shop, based in Salamanca (Spain), that sells one thing only: a cervical traction pillow for anyone who ends the day with a stiff neck.

One product, and a well-chosen one

Most shops like this one sell two hundred products nobody has ever tried. We sell one.

The cervical traction pillow is in the catalogue because it solves a very specific and very common problem: the tension that builds up in your neck and upper back after hours in front of a screen, behind the wheel, or sleeping in a bad position. Nothing to plug in, nothing to program, no subscription to pay. You lie down, place it under the nape of your neck and let gravity do the work for fifteen minutes.

Where it comes from, and why it takes as long as it does

We don't manufacture it ourselves, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. It's made by a specialised workshop and it ships from their warehouse straight to your door, without stopping at a warehouse of ours along the way.

That has a bad side and a good one. The bad: it takes between 5 and 15 working days to arrive, not twenty-four hours. The good: it's the reason it costs €29.99 and not three times that. You're not paying for a high street shop, a warehouse, or three middlemen.

In exchange, every order ships with tracking from day one, and you can follow it right here on our own page — no hunting around on a courier's website.

What we won't tell you

This is a wellbeing product, not a medical device. It does not cure a herniated disc, it does not correct an injury, and it is no substitute for a physiotherapist or a doctor.

What it does is relieve built-up muscle tension and help you loosen your neck. If you have a diagnosed condition, or the pain doesn't go away, talk to your doctor before using it. We'd rather tell you before you buy than after.

What we do commit to

Tracking from day one

Every order ships with a tracking number, and you check it on our own page instead of wandering around the courier's website.

14 days to change your mind

If it isn't what you expected once you open it, send it back — no explanations needed. The steps are written down, and there are four of them.

30-day guarantee

If it arrives damaged or stops doing its job within that window, we sort it out.

A real person replies

Emails are read and answered by a human being. No call centre, no automated replies.

We're not going to promise you miracles. We'll tell you what the pillow does, what it doesn't do, and how long it takes to arrive. And if something goes wrong, write to me — we'll fix it.
